Not sure, but I think having a separate competition for music of non-Gaelic origin but sung in Gaelic would be fabulous (thinking of John Angus Macleod’s excellent Gaelic version of Bridge over Troubled Water). It would certainly bring an added dimension to the Mod. Does music of Gaelic origin just mean Scots Gaelic or is Irish acceptable too?
